2008 Land Rover LR3 Suspension issues HELP!
long time lurker first time poster please help me.please.
2008 LR3 with 100k miles on it.
So here is the history.
I went offroad onto some really bumpy trails
When I got home I parked and noticed that my truck started sitting lower and then went all the way down to access mode. My compressor will not run since then. I bypassed the relay to see if the compressor still runs and it does. The fault I am getting is "vehicle will raise when system is cooled." The amber tilting warning light does not come on right now. Just the message on the screen.
I had put in a new AMK compressor about 6 Months ago and It seemed to run more then usual but I thought that was "normal" and maybe it was since the suspension was working fine.

I do think the AMK runs more than usual....so it could be normal. Let me ask though, do you know if the software was updated when you put the new compressor in? There is a software update required.
If it's the compressor - like maybe you just got a bad part - it should be covered under the seemingly universal 1 year parts warranty. If it's just software, then you should be able to get whomever installed it to do that for free....then find a new mechanic!
(If you installed it yourself, you can give yourself a break)

Hey, yes i did do the update with the dealership but did the work myself.
I actually just figured out the issue after starting with the harder stuff yesterday.
I changed the relay that came with the new compressor, luckily i had one laying around from another vehicle. Turns out that was the issue. This did not make me feel smart haha. But it is now running fine.
Thank you for the reply I really appreciate it.
