Default Does anyone have the JLR EPC catalog?

I felt like new.lrcat.com left a little something to be desired (specifically, it's terrible for superceded part numbers), so as per https://www.lrdirect.com/free-lr-part-search.html they'll give you the official EPC catalog for free if you meet a spending requirement. Easy enough... anyway I "signed up" yesterday but am still waiting on approval or whatever it takes.

Anyone else using this thing?

Unfortunately not but LRDirect are usually one of the cheaper or maybe cheapest UK vendors and only sell good quality parts.

Agreed.

Still can't figure out how to get access to this thing. I've called LR international, local dealerships, no one has any clue what I'm talking about and there's no contact info on the JLR EPC site.

You didn't clarify how you got access. Was it through LR direct as you described in your first post of this thread last week?

A lot of us have used the bootleg Rover Microcat CD for years. It's a little clunky but it works. This looks about the same, although it's been a while since I opened up Microcat.

I signed up for a UK region account. Waited ~7 days and finally got the approval email. Don't call local dealerships, they'll think you are crazy and you'll feel stupid. Then I changed my account back to USA to avoid VAT charges.

However I just found out that you have to spend 700 pounds per month with LRdirect to get reimbursed the 24 pounds per month for JLR EPC. So I'm not sure how long I'll actually be using this... new.lrcat.com covers 95% of it, but this catalog is definitely nicer and includes superceded part numbers which lrcat often misses.

If new.lrcat.com didn't exist, then I would definitely pay for this. I look up parts all the damn time. With lrcat, the improvements in this catalog are pretty marginal so far. It's nice to have the OSI (superceded part numbers) listed, but if you punch an old part number into any UK supplier they'll still link you to the newer one.
