Default What's in your garage [vehicles]?

After being confused by the "What's in your garage?" About It compressors more times than I'd like to admit, o decided to just ask.

What do you guys have in your garage, vehicle wise? Post up pictures!

Other than the D2, I've got two th

FirstFirst, an 01 Mustang GT, Convertible, 5 speed, 4.10 gears, and a stretched rod. Had 187k miles when I stretched it. Need to get a new rod and rebuild ASAP.

Second, a 1986 Dodge W150, regular cab, long bed. W denotes the 4wd model and it has the 318 v8 and 727 automatic transmission. I just traded a crappy old bush hog for it. The body is pretty rusted, but the frame is solid and it only has 88k miles (it was a farm truck). Currently sitting in my neighbors field where it ran out of gas just before he got a Kubota side by side. Should be pretty easy to get started. I'm real excited about it.

Hey, you guys have more of a collection than me/us, we have a LR4 SDV6 TD, D2 TD5, Pajero 2.8 TD, Merc SLK200, Smart City Coupe and a Honda CBR600 F4, it makes envious but but my excuse is that the car insurance in France is mega bucks.

Yeah, sorry about that. I figured someone would think I meant vehicles seeing as this is a vehicle forum. Glad to see that you started this one.

Me? Just my DII. Thinking about picking up another this year - undecided on what to get. Probably not Land Rover, sad to say.

Robert, what is the secondary roof panel for (on red series)?

And out of the lot (LR), which is your favorite?

The 109 has a tropical roof on it. It lets you open the roof vents even when raining and does a remarkably good job of keeping the interior cooler in Summer.

As for which is my favorite....
Today it’s still Alfred my ‘04 D2. It’s the car I have the most miles and memories in. It’s also the best suited for the types of road trips I’ve taken my kids on while they’ve been really young.

The RRC’s are nice but I don’t fit in the cabin too well. My head is always up against the roof with the seats on lowest position. I must also admit that I miss the diagnosis via OBD capabilities of GEMS and Bosch engines compared to the 14cux.

The 97 D1 could be amazing, but I just haven’t invested enough into it yet. With new suspension, clutch and some interior cleanup, it’d be a really nice and economical daily driver. (I get around 19mpg in it with the manual) I bought a parts car that came with rear AC and jump seats. I may look into retrofitting then into the SD if I decide to keep it.

My 109 is/will be a labor of love. It’s a fairly stock 11 seater Station Wagon with the exception of a 200tdi.
Once I’ve rebuilt it, I think it’ll become my favorite, but for today, the driving characteristics, vibration etc make it a tough choice to take out. I’m in the middle of trying to decide how far I want to rebuild it. Current plan is a Richards chassis, new r380, lt230 with the existing axles.
