Some odd issues with the ace system
Hello to all my fellow rover owners.
The disco has a new issues as of today that I can't quite figure.
Fuse link 15 (the one that energizes the ace relay and supplies power to the ace system) is blowing out for one reason or another and I'm trying to get some advise on finding the fault.
I tried replacing the fuse and initially everything is fine
I can hear and feel the system functioning as normal when corning at low speeds however, once I reach the systems fully activated speed of 25 MPH Fuse 15 blows.
I have tested all the actuators and the resistance between the pins is the same on all of them so I'm guessing it's not a short in the coils.
I have also tested resistance on the bottom accelerometer and can't find a short.
Any help on this issues would be greatly appreciated as Im pretty much at a dead end with my troubleshooting.

Have you checked the wires for possible frays or the grounds. I know electrical issues are always a pia and usually a 18 pack of blue moons or a bunch of makers n coke but sometimes it's as simple as a ground or even a prong on the connector pushed out enough where it's not making proper contact. I check and clean all my grounds in the spring and fall on every vehicle. I know OCD but it helps ward off the electrical demons

First off check fuse 29 in the interior below the steering wheel and try to swap a relay with the ace relay to see if the relay could possibly be bad. Attached are a few photos from rave that might help. I wish you could give some codes. Also when it blows the fuse, does the vehicle still operate fine or is it swaying or leaning toward one side or anything.

I figured it out and good thing too. One of the main wiring harnesses became loose and was moving around in the engine bay. Started to fall into the headers and was shorting from there. Glad I found this issue early before the whole harnes ended up on fire or worse. Thanks for he help as I'll be doing a check of all these grounds once I get back home.
