It's designed not to, for that reason.

Teaser shot of the Pyrex glass tube installed. I have to go grab some nice SS hose clamps, but it fit exactly like I pictured it. Dead center in between the two hose hold downs on the upper shroud!

It was a 6inch long 1 1/4 tube.

I originally was going to get it from a local hotrod/performance shop, but he didn’t have a 1 1/4 tube.

I ended up grabbing it off of Ebay for 60.00. There was only two 1 1/4 pyrex glass tubes on Ebay, one with LED’s for like 70.00 something or just the tube itself for 60.00. No LED’s here lol so 60.00 version for me. He shipped it very quickly and it was packaged excellent.
