Smile My boss owns a Series!

Im delighted to announce that the President of the company I work for, proudly owns a classic series rover! The guy is from Europe I guess and has a Tudor style haircut with semi long hair. Very nice guy. I asked him about the Series and he smirked and said its his pride and joy! Naturally I decided to bring in a couple rover parts catalogs for him. My disco was eager for a reunion!

Plus, he is much more likely to believe you when you call in because your truck is feeling sick.

Woooow! Haha
SO far the only thing he has complained about is the poor heating in the Series. He said you has the Heater upgrade thing from RoversNorth but heating still not very good..... I myself am craving a Series 3/Defender 5 door 110 but the heating issue is a turn off. Thinking about asking him if he will let me take his truck for a spin in the parking lot though!

Just add heated seats and a heated windscreen if you get a series.

Dress in layers. You will need them when it leaves you stranded.

are Series 3 5 door wagons anymore reliable? The more I see them the more I want one...... at the point where I cant decide what to get first, a LR3 HSE or a Series. Is there any other ways to improve the heating in the Series?

I've heard of bosses from Hell (I worked for a couple) but yours appears to be a boss from Heaven. Love that Series!! Love it!!

I'd hop in my defender and drive it across country without second thought. It might take me weeks because old rovers don't go very fast. I think they are very reliable or at least very simple. So if something does go wrong it's pretty easy to fix.

A petrol powered rover like most of the series sold here would probably be even easier to work on, but I have no personal experience.

But if you are looking for comfort and reliability get an LR3.
