Default Catalytic Converter Clogged!!!

I have a 96 land rover discovery and just found out my CC is clogged. It won't go over 40-50 mph. Is there a temporary fix until I get enough money to get a new one? I live in California so I have to buy a new one. I heard you can remove the o2 sensors to help out relieve the pressure or cutting a hole before the CC. Let me know! I'm a broke college kid that needs his ride! haha

If you remove the O2's it will run so rich that gas will come out the tailpipe.
Look at a junk yard for a used y-pipe, it comes with the cats. If one is clogged the other is sure to follow.

You can buy aftermarket cats for $50 to $70 range, if you can't afford that then stop driving it till you can or you will burn your exhaust valve.
