Optimal Set Up for Suspension
I have a DII and I just added the ARB and winch set up. Of course the front sags a bit and with all my woods gear the truck does sits down a bit in the rear as well. I am not doing any hard core rock crawling but I do cross some streams and rain washouts during outings. I will be running a 265/75/16 BFG. I like the Rovertyme 3 inch and OME shocks set up. IS there anything else I will need with that set up besides 4 springs and shocks and a Steering stabilizer? I also see Bilsteins are on sale right now...they have worked well in my other cars but how are they on Land Rovers?
Thanks
Thanks
If you go with 3 vs 2 you'll want the corrected radius arms, the modified watts linkage, and front swaybar disconnects. Those will make a massive difference in your articulation and significantly help your off-road traction.
Stay with RTE's 2's, which actually lifts more in the 2.5" plus range, cause the 3" is really tall and will requires brake lines, ABS lines some sort of castor correction in the front end and replacement drive shafts.
