Default Need some help deciding

I'm deciding between an ARB deluxe bumper or an OME 2" lift and new tires. However im completely dimwitted when it comes to these things. With a 2" lift, what is a good, aggressive looking tire size, and what brand/tire do you guys recommend for light off roading. By light I mean driving across fields and through some woods to my shooting range. Mud, snow, grass etc, no rock crawling or anything nuts. Curious what sizes you guys recommend. Theyll be on for a few weeks most likely before the lift.

someone recommended these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....&autoMake=Land Rover&autoYear=2001&autoModel=Discovery Series II&autoModClar= but I dont know what size to pick for them to be bigger and meatier. Like Ive said, all my other cars I never really screwed with different size tires as they were all turbo cars. Thanks for any help guys!

Do you have 16 18 inch wheels, I just bought Goodyear Wrangler Territory - Canadian Tire for $209 each, I have not selected my lift, it will be some sort of HD 2'' lift, from what i have read there still might be a bit of rubbing but nothing a bit of trimming wont fix.

i would go with the lift. 2" you can squeeze close to a 33" tire in there.

Springs and tires first, and make sure you order springs that will hold up and ARB bumper.
If your planning on a winch you might as well go HD right from the start.

I have the grabber at2 tires on mine, almost time for a new set though. I personally want something more aggressive.

Id suggest spending a little more on an aggressive tire like the one mentioned above. And save a little cash on the suspension and go with the HD Terrafirma setup.

Then buy yourself a welder and get some practice in. First make yourself some rock sliders. Then maybe a diff cover. Finally graduate with your own DIY winch bumper. You could even do your own exhaust work. Think of the possibilities
