Default Tire size question

Sorry I'm sure this has been asked a lot but I hope someone will still help me out. I have a 2002 Disco II SE7 and I want to put the largest tires on my 18" rims that I can. I am still at stock height for now. I am looking for a tall tire not wide. So any suggestions on size would be great, I'll worry about brand as I shop around. Thanks for help!!

Michael

First with a stock suspension you really can only go up one size and sometimes they will even rub.
To go larger, you must start with a lift then add tires, remember the larger the tire the more torques, power you will loose plus about 1.5 MPG. Also the larger the tire the wider they get so I would switch to 16" wheels where you have a much larger selection of tires and sizes and then buy a 235/80/16 or similiar size.
