Question re suspension lift/brake hoses
Time for a brake fluid change and I intend to fit new, longer (Goodridge type) hoses at the same time to accomodate a future lift. However, some questions:
1.Difference in on road handling of 2" vs 3" lift.
2. I believe that the 2" lift is OK without castor correction on the Disco II but what about the 3"?
Thanks

RE: Question re suspension lift/brake hoses
Not familiar with the Goodridge type brake lines, are they stainless steel, if not use stainless steel.
D2's do well with either a 2 or a 3" lift, both on and off the road, I run a near 3" OME lift, had it for nearly 5 years and swear by it. If you want to get real crazy, you can go to RTE and by their 2 or 3" lifts which are always taller the the OME's.
Do you realize, you can't use lockers on your truck cause you don't have the locking t/case? It can be adde3d by switch out to the older t/case if you plan on some hard wheeling.
You will notice a slight castor issue as you get closer to 3". I installed a T.T. locker in the front diff that took care of my issue with thisw.
Send me your e-mail address and I send you some pictures of mine with the lift.
