after market radio
i have a nice (in my opinion) kenwood cd/mp3 player that i want to put in my '03 freelander. i'm not a newbie when it comes to stereo instulation but i am a newbie at the freelander and i've been told that it's not an easy task. any tips? can i use just a wiring harness and a dash instulation kit? if so where can i buy them? i'm in hunstville, AL and so something on the web would be great. thanx[sm=dontgetit.gif]

RE: after market radio
Not sure if the freelander has the standard sized radio, or the special sized one. Or if your Kenwood one is the same size of the freelander one.
The wiring for the radio system in the freelander should be the standard Din plug in the back though. If your Kenwood has the same din socket in the back then should be a straight swap.

First take your radio apply a 1/2 in strip of duck tape on each side. Then rotate your tires one time around. Be sure to check the flux capasitor make sure it has 1.21 gigawatts when power up. Roll up the driver side window And that should do it. That baby should fit right in there with no problems. Good luck!
