Installing a new after market radio, Will I have Problems?
The dealer told me I have to be careful installing a aftermarket radio due to some sort of amp that my 98 range Rover SE P38 has. Does anyone know what he's talking about? and will I have any sort of problem if I just buy a radio at Bestbuy? Thanks for the help?

The amp in your RR has a funky impedence, and probably won't work well with the low level or speaker outs from the new head unit. The stock amp will pick up a lot of noise and won't work with the stock system.
If you're going to swap out the radio, you'll probably have to re-run wires to the stock speakers and bypass the stock amps. You may also, have to replace the stock speakers. It will definitely cost more but you can have the sound tailored to the music you listen to, and be be able to upgrade the system as time and finances allow.

Thats what I figured
We got a deck from Frys Electronics today. We are having it installed friday. The guy said he wants to install the deck first to see what the sound is and if the amp will be ok. But if not ok, we will just have to install new speakers and a new amo with a new subwoofer. our subwoofer is blown. Thanks for your input
