Dash/intrument lights & RH Tail lights not working

Check the bulb sockets in the rear bumping running and backup lights. I had found those melting and were caused a sort that kept blowing a fuse. Can't remember which fuse #. I checked everything inside the turn signal stalk etc. in the end it was just a bad fuse caused by a short in the bumper light socket. Try pulling all the bulbs from the rear bumper. Check all your fuses and fix the bad one. Then try the trailer lights. If they work you can plug the bulbs back in one by one to see which socket is bad. That's how I found it eventually. Good luck!

I added an aftermarket (Curt) trailer light box and it worked for a few months, then quit when I needed it. I replaced it with a higher priced one and it has been working so far...
Seems like they either work or don't work and can cause other problems. That is probably why mine was cut off before I purchased the truck.
I did get to see my LR today for a few minutes before the wife left for work... Just enough time to add oil, brake fluid, washer solvent and check the lights. Then it was gone again....

it's your turn signal switch. Same thing you use to turn the headlights on. Refurbing this wasn't a problem and is pretty easy but if you're facing nonworking tail light issues it's a real pain to track down. In my case ended up being melted bulb sockets which I fixed and then installed lower amp flouro bulbs.

Almost fixed, but not quite
01 Disco - I just bought this thing so I have little knowledge of it's history.
Dash and tail lights not working
Solution = Fuse
But wait... I checked fuses 1st (all good), then bulbs (replaced the bad ones) thinking it was that simple. Still had the problem.
Talking with a friend, he said, go buy a box of new fuses and replace them all. So starting with #1 and working my way to #34 under the dash.
Turns out after replacing #33 they worked again! So after all that, it was still the Fuse.
Here's the next problem: The fuse blows after about 30min. I see many have mentioned the light stalk, but that seems like an overwhelming place to start, and it IS working as long as the fuse stays in tact.
I will probably take a closer look at the trailer connector tomorrow. Any guidance or ideas as to the cause would be helpful, even if it's just confirming I'm working on the right path.

Solved: Dash and Tail lights fuse problem
Just a follow-up
So I used some electrical component cleaner, the spray kind, on all of the bulb sockets and connectors. One by one on the right side lights. I also was very generous in spraying the trailer connector. It had plenty of crud come out and now I'm guessing that the trailer connector was the problem all along.
Popped in a new fuse and switched on the lights. The problem seems to be fixed. I haven't blown a fuse yet and all the lights are working.

Still trying to resolve other problems with misfires. But at least I can drive it at night now.
