We had issues with them when you would move it involves disconnecting part of the seat and kinda ratching it back. But that is for the seat that moves forward when stopping.
Hello everyone, I am back again... I have taken my LR2 to get serviced 5x already in reference to this seat issue. Each time they lube the frame, and each time I come home with a squeaky seat.
This is maddening for me, because I drive a lot in it, and the frequent squeaks are very irritating.
Does anyone have any advice? I have already called Land Rovers customer relations various times, and they seem to be a bit indifferent in regards to my issue.
The dealership stated that its an issue with the year/make/model. As far as I see it, a 40k dollar vehicle should not have a wiggly, squeaky seat. Before this Land Rover I have had several cars that were way cheaper, and didn't have this issue.

Argh... Please! Help!
I have 2008 LR2 since May 2007, and had no such issue w/ the seats.
I would demand that dealer changes the seat frame and rails. Wobbly driver's seat can also be a safety issue-I'd mention this to the dealer too, because you can unintentionally push gas/break pedals if the seat is moving...
I too have had the exact same problem with a squeaky seat on my 2009 LR2. Took it into the dealer 3 times to have it addressed. It was most annoying going over bumpy roads or the worst was speed bumps. After complaining strongly, the Service Manager of the local dealership was actually pretty reasonable. He acknowledged that the LR2 was having this problem, became aware of my situation and after much (polite) complaining, agreed to replace what they called the "seat carriage". That fixed that problem and I eventually traded up into a new LR RR Sport from that dealer. BTW, I am much happier with this vehicle. I was still under warranty and had about 20,000 miles on it when the squeaks started.

Reason: grammer
I'm also having a nightmare of a problem with sqeaking seats. I have a 2004 Discovery II. The sqeak is INSIDE of the driver's seat back and its deep inside the seat, but its roaring load. The tricky part is that its not present 100% of the time...only about 85%. It disappears for no apparent reason whatsoever...then its suddenly back. Some days its so loud my stereo cannot cover it up. I've been told at the dealership that its a loose seat frame and it would cost me thousands (YES, as in several) of dollars to stop it. I have to find a solution to this problem and fast~! This is driving me absolutely insane.
