Default 08 LR2 traction control issue

so my friend left the sun roof open and it rained like 3". i removed the seats. vacuumed under the carpet and had a dehumidifier on overdrive to get the rest of it. i go to drive the car the traction control light starting flashing and the car barley moved until the traction control light stayed on, abs and brake light. O BOY! the onboard display said the traction control issue. (sorry i forgot the trem it was telling me) i was wondering if anyone had the same issue or had any idea, where i could find a new one for not a outrageous price or if only the dealer can replace because of sometime of reflash/ programming for removal and instillation.

my next step is to remove it and inspect the guts.

dude you have to get it diagnosed to find out where the problem is. You can't buy anything until its diagnosed. You will have to see the dealer because the dealer will be able to access all the parts of the system and know where to look. Sorry but there are so many modules on that car that could have been affected or not. It could be a splice or something else. No idea. You have to spend the money. Sorry but thats life.
