Default Hello from Vermont

Hey guys, awesome forum here. I lurked around before purchasing my '04 Disco II last month, tons of great info here for a n00b like me to understand what I was getting myself into buying a Land Rover.

Keep up the great work, hopefully I can do some meaningful maintenance or upgrades to my Disco and get some nice photos on the board for others.

Welcome. Please take advantage of the free download of the shop and owners manual set below, called the RAVE. If you have been doing your home work you know that front drive shaft needs grease fittings and frequent grease, or it will snap and impale your tranny. Write up in D1 tech section (kinda covers both models). Don't let temp gauge move over 9:00 without some action on your part.

What part of Vermont are you from? If you are from the Manchester area or bennington area I suggest you stop and visit the LR experience school at MT Equinox. Those guys are great and they will help you out with tips on offroading and offroading in VT. There are even owners days that will allow you to take your vehicle on their course for some extra lessons.

oh and go now, they will appreciate it, its their slow season.
