I also could use the passenger side front door panel pocket.
Below is a picture of the interior piece that I need that goes around the driver side alpine window. Mine is fitted with the wrong piece that leaves a good 4 inches between the piece and the window. Must be from another Rover?

The heat shield problem can be fixxed with an after market heat shield material. Google works best for finding the material. Also most parts stores carry such things.
