“Advised tire pressure” question
Hey guys,
I'm in Northern California, its not crazy cold, maybe in the 40's at lowest, and after owning the car for 4 years, and being in even colder temps, I am for the first time seeing the advised pressure changing and telling me I have low air when they are at like 32psi. It's suggesting 42psi up front, and then 49 in the back. If I fill them up to the suggested pressure, the monitor still reads tire pressure warning and then the advised PSI drops back down to like 32'ish with no weather temps change.
Are my sensors just bad in the front? nothing occurs in the rear. I assume the advised PSI changes depending on temps, but I've been in below 0 temps and never have had this occur.

great thank you I will try that!
How does one change the setting? Does it require a GAP tool?
Is it possible to change the “advised” tire pressure for each load setting? “Normal load” is well beyond my slightly oversized tires’ max pressure. I see how to change the “TPMS load setting” to either “normal” or “light”, but is it possible to set the advised values more appropriately for my tires? Thank you.
