Before I begin I looked at other threads and tried to find what I was looking for but I did not so I will post here. I have a 2021 LRD 110s and it has standard led headlights. I wanted Powerful UK's part two video on the upgrade to premium and i decided to go for it. I ended up sourcing a OEM pair of premium Led headlights and installed them. I experienced the same issues as the video i watched and so I know I need to Update the CCF's to make the car read the proper headlight. Have some connection at a LR dealer and they tried to program but when they program as new, the tool errors out and says contact LR engineers.
Is there anyone or anyway to get these updated for my defender. I see all the threads with the beta diagnostic tools and the threads with the euro ballast but I am looking for a simple (hey here is how it can be done)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
here are some pics
the new Premium LED's installed that need to be updated to the cars config.
All dealers bosch tool are locked out of CCF updates, unless a JLR engineer gives them access. Plus none of the dealers have the ccf editing capabilities. Sarek on east coast and Garret and myself in California are it.
@markjlr - Have you modified yours to Matrix? I vaguely think you have. Now THAT is what I'm excited to see. Premium upgrade is super cool, but I'm already there and scheming for the next level. I see some shops in the UK do it for 1.5k pounds. I would do that in a nano second if I could drive it to a shop and do that.
@HMBodo08 did you find a solution to this? I have the same problem. Also, I bought the IID GAP tool and it had no impact on the lights. No matter what setting I chose and uploaded nothing changed. Ugh.

unfortunately, I have not. Still keeping my fingers crossed and finding a way to get it done. They’re just sitting on my workbench right now, until I find a solution.
