It almost sounds like a moderate rain hitting the car---save for the fact that there is no rain. The sound was hit or miss for a while, and is now there all the time at speeds under 35mph. I've had the wife drive the car, and I've sat in all the seats to see where the noise is coming from. It seems to come from the tops of the doors on all sides and could even be described as sound like a crinkling sound. Interestingly, I applied pressure to the black molded pieces on the rear passenger windows...and it stopped back there. Of all pathetic things, I took an expandable shower rod and put it up across the back seat...applying pressure evenly to those areas...and the sound was reduced quite a bit. Not that you want to drive around an $80k car with a shower rod in it...
Sound has now gotten worse along front doors. There seems to be some odd interaction between the rubber gaskets in the door that might be making the noise. If I press on the top of the window or black trim from the outside, the car makes the same creaking/crinkling/squishing noise. I've applied a high end dressing to the rubber everywhere...and it might have helped a touch, but not much at all. For now driving around sounds like a squeak box, and like the inside is going to fall part.
Any thoughts? THANKS!
Hi. Did you ever get this issue resolved? I've just picked up a p400e with 3000 miles on it, and it's doing exactly as you describe. Sounds like rain / creaking at low speeds, especially on bumpy roads. In electric mode the effect is even worse, as there's no engine noise to mask it. The sound is so all-around that I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I thought dirt was being thrown up from the tyres into the wheel arches at first, but then it's also happening on dry roads... Rubber seals could explain it, although I seem to be getting noise from every single seal which is hard to believe (or just plain bad luck).

Did silicone lubricant work for you? I'm going to get some Gummi Pflege and give it a go.

I took the advice of @allegedly and bought the Gummi Pflege and it has quieted my doors. And for the record, every SUV I've ever owned has had this issue and they include Grand Cherokee, Chevy Tahoe, Honda Pilot, Volkswagen Atlas, and now Land Rover Defender.

Yes---no further issues with the combo of the Gummi and the lubricant. In terms of the sound, acoustics in a car do weird things...it's really hard to know where the sound is coming from. One quick test, on the outside of the driver's side door push on the top piece of black plastic. You may hear it squeak---if it does, then you're on point with using the lubricant to ease away that squeak. Lubricate the insides of the black rubber gaskets. Hope this helps!

Default some other choices

This is one thing which I used in the past on my ML 350. For me, it did the job. The only thing, it had to be applied every 3-4 months.

I believe the only way to get rid of it, is to have the interior (specially the doors) being professionally sound isolated by the specialist.
Hi I’m facing exactly the same issue the sound is coming from the top trim of the door even when I change the leather of it but still the sound coming please tell me if you figure out how to resolve it

I'm in the same boat, would be curious if lubricating the rubber seal is the ultimate answer.
