Alright guys, well I was driving home today and I crossed a set of railroad tracks and all of the sudden I was getting the weirdest noise coming from my wheels...it almost sounded like I had picked something up into the wheels...but when I got home there was nothing there...so now i am clueless?? Any ideas?

 

You need to be a little more specific. Weird sound doesn't really help any. Was it a knocking sound, a grinding, what?

 

if it's a tapping sound you probably just picked up a piece of gravel or a rock

 

maybe it was the sound of the wheels going over the tracks?

 

Front wheels, rear? One in particular?
