I have the 11.4" screen as part of my build, and I asked if there was a possibility of it being delayed, and the response I got back was that with the committed order they don't anticipate any additional delays.

Anything can happen, of course, but it was a pretty encouraging update.
Going to to be interesting to see how this pans out with the larger screen. I am swapping out of my original order that had a build date of 5/7 and my sales rep said it would be September before I could get that order with the larger screen.

I originally placed my order on 2/5/21 (for what was originally supposed to be a MY2021), and then finalized the MY2022 build on 3/4/21.

No problemo on the questions! We're both in the same spot... puttering around on this forum, getting more and more excited, even though it's going to be months before we'll be in our Defenders

I think that’s more than just you two! Lot of folk just in the waiting hopper!

In the same weird boat with all of you guys. I have a build date of 5/14/21 with a large screen and have been told that there will be no problems with the delivery of 7/16

Just got an update from my dealer. Car is built and waiting at port to be shipped. ETA has moved from 6/5 to 5/28 for now. We'll see once it ships. It's going to be a long two months....

bet mine is there too, or already on a boat. Probably sitting next to yours though.

I’m still amazed that it actually takes them 2 months to deliver an already built vehicle. I just consulted my journal for accuracy: My last order with Porsche, placed 2/14/15, was built 3/24 and I drove it home in Atlanta 4/25. So a month total to ship from Germany to Brunswick, GA, and trailer it up to Atlanta. Hard to blame C19 for double the shipping time.

Oh, hell, who am I kidding. It’s EASY to blame C19 for anything negative that happens on earth. I think it has become business’ biggest friend.

Well, bear in mind West Coast adds 2 weeks, at least according to my dealer. They tell me they'll drop East Coast cars in Brunswick, then go over the canal and drop West Coast cars in Long Beach. So sounds like an East Coast car would take 6 weeks, which does not sound outrageous to justify on COVID.

Hopefully not Long Beach... There is currently a backlog of container ships parked in front of the port to last for weeks or months. What a disaster that seaport is. Generally, Land Rover unloads in Port Hueneme near Oxnard, a little further north and nowhere near as congested as LA/Long Beach.

Long Beach was my personal guess, as the dealer just said "LA", clearly I do not know what I am talking about... Hopefully it is what you say and that has no impact on delivery timeline.

Thanks!
