And they would update me when they received dates.

 

Just got the email from my CA, the car arrived at the dealership this past weekend. Expedition rack is being installed and will be ready for pickup. We are traveling to take delivery next Wed, so this will be a very long 10 days! That makes 4 months and a week from day ordered to day the car is ready for pick up, which considering all the circumstances is not terrible. Can't wait!

 

hah!! Considering yours was going to FL, I’m sad that it beat mine to here in NM from CA. As of last Wednesday, mine hadn’t been dispatched from Oxnard and I haven’t heard anything from the dealership yet.

Did you have any port installed accessories?

 

Actually, I am taking delivery in Utah, so not that much of a difference distance-wise related to yours. I did have the Front undershield and A frame protection bar installed at port.

Got a feeling you will be getting the long awaited call any minute now. I was about to email my CA this morning, when I got his email.

 

any idea how long the port install options delayed things?

 

The car got to port 5/12 and to the dealer 5/22-23. So about ten days. No idea how much of that was due to the options install, but assume no major delay because of them

 

Apparently, mine is now in a truck. Getting close.

 

Are you adding a winch at some point?

 

Not in the plans for now.
