purposefully ordered small screen and no HUD to try and negate any delays.
build date of 10/22
delivery date of 12/17
haven't spoken with the salesman in a month but as far as I know that is still the timeline.

i also don‘t have the HUD and only the small screen. But an SE version with tow package, driver assist and active rear dif. So a lot of chips needed.
So 2 weeks after you could mean build date in November…

Still no build date
I placed my Defender order in late June, 2021 and JLR still hasn't accepted the order. I was told late December or early January to expect the car but I'm doubtful.
I shouldn't have ever cancelled my Bronco order.

I placed my Defender 90 order in Mid September. My build sheet from JLR has a build date of 10/15 with a delivery date of 12/24 to the dealer. All I have is a verbal from the dealer that we are still on time, nothing else. I ordered a HUD but took it out to get an earlier delivery along with removing the advanced off-road package and advanced tow package. Even had to accept the analog speedometer/driver info center. I'm hoping for a call before thanksgiving with a VIN???

Created this post for people to post information pertaining to their 2021 factory orders (order date, build date, delivery date etc). Some posters have noted delays due to COVID-19 outbreaks. Hoping that this post can provide some clarity for those who are currently waiting on delivery of their 2021 defenders.

I also have the confirmation of my dealer that I will have a MY23 version.
Ordered July 7th.
Also now have seen that in the configurator (base 110 SE) the "Click-and-Play" stuff incl charging points in the back of the front seats are gone. So they are saving on cables and chips.
Now you can only mount the stuff on the head rest rods.
