Default 2022 Defender 90 P400 Issues

Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone could offer any insight into some issues I'm having with my Defender 90 P400 please? Registered Jan 2022 with 9k on the clock.

There seems to be a loud whooshing noise coming from behind the dash on the passenger side (UK car so the left of vehicle) on acceleration. This definitely wasn't there when I got the car. I've also noticed that the car idles very erratically. Will be sitting there at 750rpm then all of a sudden shoots up to 1500rpm when stationary for no apparent reason. The auto stop/start function has also stopped working (A with a line through on the dash all the time). Also when on auto hill hold and you keep your foot on the brake the revs shoot up to 1500rpm even when stationary.

I had an issue the other day where the coolant tank was completely empty and I needed to top it up, which I've never had to do on any of the other Land Rover's I have owned (4 x Sport and 3 x RR Vogue). Seems to be keeping coolant now but time will tell whether it empties again.

I just wondered if anyone could offer any advice please as to what this may be, based on all the symptoms I've described?

I've already needed a new brake pedal, new air suspension compressor and a replacement tailgate panel to stop a loud creak noise on adverse camber - so I'm not overly impressed with the car after 7 months of ownership. Good news is that it's still under warranty.

Thanks in advance!
