I also have an order pending with LR Norwood so was just curious as every time I text my salesperson I get an update. Sounds like you should find a new one or talk to Eddie the owner about lack of responsiveness.
Update! Dealer saw a change that mine is now scheduled to be built oct 8 (instead of sep 17) with same delivery of Dec 3. Let's see if that sticks this time!
Finally heard back, my build date was pushed back to 11/12, and delivery from 11/26 to 1/7/22. Between Land Rover and Ford I'm not sure who has been less disappointing so far (My Bronco was just bumped from 10/4 to 11/1)
P400 110 with all the offroad and towing jiggerypokery. Our new arrival. As ordered. Some celebratory tater tots and pulled pork chile in order (as is tradition)
No surprises at the dealership. Sticker price. Everything as ordered with the welcome deletion of the textile seats. All leather in all black. Huzzah!
Also discovered this little lighting surprise.

It's disturbingly clean and shiny right now. Hopefully get to muck it up some tomorrow. I'll get the rack and ladder next week and install.
I have the Hibachi Silver (spelling intended...) and I hate the front silvery parts in the middle of the black. But on the Tasmanian Devil Blue, it really works out well. I keep saying it - the Blue with white roof is my fav. Even like the two toned A-Pillar. Yeah, I'm going to have to start now to order a 2023 and choose this color scheme. I'm hoping if I order a 2023 now that the options will be in by then and I'll get it in the correct year.
I nearly reserved a Grenadier when the email came out a few days back. However I thought better of it same as with the R1S. If established auto makers are struggling so hard I am not putting my hope in auto startups delivering anywhere near on time nor at an acceptable level of quality so I'm going to wait a MY or two. Both are neat in different ways though
I was just about to write: "As much as JLR has quality issues, at least they have a decently sized network so that you can attempt to get proper service done." Then as I take a bite of my lunch looking at the last pic I notice the "battery drain switch" label and think: Not Me. Love the idea: we have so many electronics sapping the battery that I need an overall battery kill switch. It's what I put on my winch. But for the entire vehicle?! Yeah, they have a lot to work on before it's more than a novelty vehicle imho.
