Default Last Date for Spec Change and build Date Deleted

90 XS Edition ordered back in April , Had previously excepted down grade on driver display to old style analogue dials (Chip Shortage !!!). Order was showing last 01 Sep as last date of spec change and build date of 01 Oct . Contacted UK dealer and when they checked dates have been removed, also true for other orders due in this sort of time period. They have no idea what's going on they are hoping dates will reappear after a short term rescheduling exercise. Any idea if this a reasonable answer

@colingriff have you read through defender2.net forums? It's horribly laid out and difficult to follow but it's more UK/EU focused. Rumors over there are that new UK orders are now being told to expect late '22 to early '23 delivery. PHEV builds just got paused until next May.

I am in Canada, but same issue.
Ordered in April, delivery went from August to Oct, Nov, now not scheduled.
They are guessing that I will have a November date.
They are saying the order timeline is not being updated by LR.
Don't know what else to do.

What's your build date? A build of this week would be delivered to the East coast in very early December.

If you don't already have a build date, November probably isn't going to happen.

They probably mean November 2022…. I’m not even joking.

My last build date was 8/13/21.
They never updated past this change.
It was supposed to be at dealer Oct. 1.

If anyone is interested I just posted my 2022 Carpathian Gray Defender 90 X-Dynamic HSE in the classifieds section. I need to swap out for a 110 due to a baby on the way now...smh.

That’s mostly good news Amg! You should be able to confirm it was built come Friday. I found with LR Denver and all my requests for updates, the build date was pushed pretty far out, like a month or so. The fact that it’s in just a few days and hasn’t been pushed out already seems promising!

What was the total travel time for your vehicle from South Hampton? Was it being shipped to LA? and did it end up at Port Hueneme?

It left UK port on August 21 and arrived in Hueneme on about Sept 20th I think. All the west coast Defenders offload at Hueneme per my dealer.

A week or so there getting its under-shield installed and then about a week of trucking to Seattle

It was ready for delivery right on Oct 1 which was the date in the build sheet.

All told, a 7/23 build date was in my driveway 10/2 (ordered at the very end of May)
