I pushed hard on my dealer to check high up on LR. They finally found out that only the X and above will have interactive display.

Is this a recent thing? I remember reading about some cut off date after which no IDD on any Defender but HSE and above, and mine was built after that date and came with all the electronic gadgets, including IDD, CS mirror and 11.4” display. Maybe it is country specific (US restrictions)? Or is it happening to people in Europe and Australia too?

Regarding the interactive display, larger touchscreen and Clearsight Mirror, has anyone seen substitution (or removal) of any parts listed on their Order Details/build sheet as "included"? And what are the part numbers in questions? Below is what is shown in the Order Details for my 110 X-Dynamic SE 400PS, ordered 1-17-22.

038IC TFT Instrument Cluster
087AW 11.4" Touchscreen - this is oddly listed as an "option"...but at $0 (I am quietly hoping that I actually get the smaller screen somehow as it fits the dash design better IMO)
(I did not order/want the Clearsight Mirror, so I dont have that part number)

I would think it quite tough for LR to start pulling items from the standard build for a trim level as they would need to figure out what to credit you for the loss. If the item is an "option", its easy. Skip the option, deduct the option cost = unhappy customer but no financial harm.

Hey All, I have a '16 RRS right now with 57k. (cross coolant tube just went and is in the shop for $3k right now, so that's given me a little push ) I've been looking at the Defenders since they released. Test drove the 4 cyl when it was at the dealer. Looking to order a 110 SE 6 cyl with a few options. This is my build:
https://build.landrover/A63EE155

I'm wondering if I should step up to the X-dynamic. Only difference I saw was the additional $1k for the painted roof, which I want body colored anyways.

I've sent my dealer sales manager an inquiry this weekend but haven't heard back as of yet.

How long roughly have you all been waiting?

I'm not looking to pay a market adjustment, that's why I am ordering. Are you are experiencing market adjustments?

I think the situation on order to build is different now then when I did mine. I ordered my Dynamic XE P400 in Sept 21 and got it in Jan 22. With Omni it's likely now longer, but who knows. I got it for MSRP, no mark-ups or mark-downs. I had to accept things they couldn't offer, no HUD, no advance off road, analog driver display (which I rather like)...but I got everything else.

I can answer on the Interactive Display... 038IC is listed as Analogue Dials with Central TFT Display. You get a mini digital screen in the middle, and old school analog speedometer.

Our build has 087AW 11.4" Touchscreen on it and haven't heard differently on the screen being downsized. I could live with the smaller Pivi screen if it came down to it.

087AZ 10" Touchscreen is the smaller screen. If you are not getting something the build sheet says 'LESS' in front of the item. Noting on my build was listed as an option. Items were pulled from my build that were standard from the trim level, specifically the driver display. No credit was identified.

I think you'll wait a fairly long time. I placed my '22 model year build in August of '21 with the dealer. They received a handful of P400-only build allocations last week, so I went in and finalized my order because I was in that group and wanted to make sure mine was in the queue. The new '23 model year price was a fairly significant price bump, for various reasons that are now standard in the lowest X-Dynamic SE trim level, one of which I'm not actually going to receive as of now (larger PiviPro screen is supposed to be on every '23 build, but pretty much no one is getting it, V8 or not). So I'm essentially getting an ~$1,800 pano roof and a ~$1,000 black painted roof for my $5-6k.

My build I placed in August 2021 is due July 2022.

I was placed in the holding pool in August/September...still awaiting an allocation slot. I wouldn't doubt you'd have to wait close to a year at this point.
