I am in Tampa...how can the ETA's be so different when our vehicles were built on the same day? I think the delivery date vs the handover date is misleading.
Why would it take almost 2 months to get the vehicle "handed over" to you after it has been delivered? Are the doing massive amounts of options done at Port of entry?

My build was very basic.
I ordered a few things like the front undershield and mudflaps that are supposed to be port installed, so that might be the reason.
Finding out what accepted delivery to key here.....I read it as when the dealership takes delivery..
My first order only had a one day difference between the delivery and handover. I changed to a new order in my22 and the difference was almost three weeks. I did add the the front under shield to the new order, so that might have to do with the time it takes for the port install.
My dealer had kept a few defenders in their showroom that were sold but you could look at as they could not keep any in stock long enough to have any to show people. When my sales rep told me about this I asked if they were paying the buyers to have them there and he said no. I have no idea who would be cool with letting your new defender stew in a dealership for everyone to look at and sit in especially during covid. I wondered if this might represent some of the delay.
My dealer notified me last week that my defender was going to be three weeks later than had been previously reported. I asked for an updated vista printout and he said nothing has changed on it but the handover date and sent me a copy of the previous one. I found that to be pretty sketchy.
Finally got the updated Order Details information from my sales rep which shows that I’m officially in the 5/13 build date club.
Little bit put off by the 8/27 handover date but so be it. From other posts I’m guessing that the handover date might change anyway (for better or worse).
My tracking sheet like your's above doesn't even list any "Handover" dates. Only the build of 5/13 and delivery of 7/16.
So I just asked my SA about the difference between "Delivery Date" and "Handover Dates". His quote was " Handover dates are totally irrelevant. I just pay attention to the Delivery Date, which should be the Friday of the week it’s scheduled to arrive. Sometimes it changes, but usually pretty accurate."

Interesting. The date my sales rep told me for delivery turned out to be the handover date.
Again now he is stating that changed to 9/17 but didnt provide me an updated printout.
Just Picked Up My 2022 LR Defender 110 SE (Carpathian, white roof, ebony interior)
My build/order was submitted late March and unbeknownst to me and the dealer (or so I'm told), the power that be at LR changed the model year to 2022 from 2021. And with that sly change order the build was modified! The good news is that sticker came in slightly below the msrp on my original order (e.g., the paint options were cheaper, for instance) BUT the bad news is that the air suspension and the Clearsight rearview mirror (which are no longer standard in the '22 SE) were nowhere to be found in my Defender.
Honestly, I thought that the coils would be a deal breaker but after test drive (and a $1600 discount due to the snafu which the dealer blamed on the factory), I decided to proceed with the purchase rather than wait another three+ months to get the perfect build for me. Am pleased. This is my fifth LR and while it is still early, I'm lovin' it.

Reason: type
For the record, my 3/25-ordered P400 110 X-Dy SE, with a Build Date the week of 5/7 was sitting at the docks at Southampton on 5/7. It is still there, looking for passage to the New World, on 5/24. Delivery date is unchanged, at 7/2. We’ll see. I figured it could get on a boat before now.
