Wish it was a cruel joke, but my scheduled pickup today has been delayed for a problem. Over the weekend, during PDI, they noticed the AC blowing hot air. They thought maybe the factory just didn't fill it full with refrigerant (seems unlikely), and therefore "topped it off". Starting cooling great. Then in preparation for my pickup this afternoon, the salesman noticed the AC blowing warm again. So delivery has been postposed and they are investigating for a leak.
Not sure how long this will take!? Anyone's recent Defenders had this problem?
But on a happy note, I did go by and get my deal done and the dealer is very upset and taking the AC thing very seriously. Installed the roof rack with my salesman, and put the cargo barrier in the back for my dogs! Worked out a pretty good ext. warranty - AllState Premiere - 10 years or 100K miles (I only drive an average of 10K miles a year) which includes their 3 year no deductible, only OEM windshield replacement plan). Got InControl working, etc... now I'm just being patient. Thanks to all!

Reason: update

Ugh... this better not be a sign of things to come.
Oh brother... Hope not also. Mine arrived Friday afternoon and they are open Saturday (closed Sunday) and they're just getting it into PDI. And only after several calls ratcheting it up to the top dawg manager. Trying to take it out of town on Wednesday morning and I'd like a day with it first before I leave. He says I should get it about 6pm, but of course, who knows what they'll find. Engine installed backwards? Sunroof in the floor?
There was a mention in this thread or perhaps the 2021 similar thread by a guy who had an AC problem. Lemme see if I can find it...

Happy to hear yours finally got in. Delivery was painless for mine after waiting the same couple of days for PDI. They didn't say a word about any of the things that were slightly different on the build.

it’s a Land Rover…. What did you expect? If you wanted a reliable car, you should’ve bought a Toyota. It’s a great car when it’s running right but you have to expect headaches, especially straight out of the box. Good luck regardless!
Take heart and hang in there, They’re extremely solid vehicles. The only issue I’ve had with mine was the passenger side A-pillar noise that I fixed myself. Other than that it’s been perfect.

Got mine home! Dealership is only 6 miles away and I noticed it has 21 miles on it when I got home, so seems like it's been thoroughly tested somewhere.
NO CELs, limp mode, extraneous noises, gasoline leaks, etc. yet!
Thanks for the pics @drcoop . That rear cargo barrier divider looks much longer than I thought. Likely does a great job separating the dog from the groceries! (or whatever else you don't want to mix). Does that middle barrier at the bottom quickly open up to load long items? Looks like it has a threaded handle to undo it pretty fast.
Yes, its very similar but mounts in a much better way than my LR4 cargo barrier. Easier to completely remove when needed, but keeps my two big dogs comfortable and safely away from luggage, etc. The little access door is simple to open for lumber or longer stuff, but I doubt I'll open it much having the roof rack!
