Thanks! Yes as Moretti replied it is Carpathian. What a fantastic vehicle. I'm so glad that I took the plunge and just went for it. If anyone is hesitating I would say Land Rover nailed it here. You won't be disappointed.

Why dont you just hold for a Grenadier?

Or maybe the flying car from the Jetsons?

I guess that still qualifies for overlanding?

The funny thing about Carpathian Grey is that it looks like a different color in different types of lighting. I've seen it have a bluish tint in bright sunlight, yet it looks black in the shade.

Default Stuck at port

First, I just wanted to thank everyone for being so helpful. Glad I found this forum. Second, just wanted to give a heads up to those of us on the East Coast that I just heard from my dealer that the V8s are sitting at the port in Maryland. No recall issues. He seems to think that there might be just some extra custom issues as they’re the first V8s.

Interesting.. I do know the vessel FIDELIO arrived in Baltimore last night which had mine on it. I wonder if the V8s were also on that ship.

Don’t complain at least yours is on a ship. I paid my deposit snd placed my order for a V8 12 weeks ago and the order still hasn’t even been accepted by JLR.

How long did it take from port to dealer for those who have taken delivery already?
