Yeah we had contact on the car in Encino but one of the sites said it was pending sale. They definitely weren't doing MSRP. The other one was the 50k over car. Aside from 22s being way too big it was very nice. Yulong White is fun.

you considering a v8 110 as well? Do the Cali dealers who have those selling above MSRP as well?

Here's a fun story. Jaguar Orlando is adding Land Rover at the end of next month. They have a long list of inventory vehicles sitting at port waiting for the dealership to open. Except for a couple, they are not sold.

The dealer has a list with model, trim, color, interior, VIN, and price. If you live in their local market area, you can reserve one at MSRP + dealer fee $800.

The thing is, they have no idea what options are on any of them. They don't have access to the LR system yet because they aren't open.

Care to spin the wheel and see what you get?

JLR LA claimed they had already sold the black 110 V8 at 40k over. I think my mother wants a Mercedes G-Class though now and the market for that is as bad or worse now with them not doing V8 cars at all next year.

Anyone know how to track the vehicle once it gets offloaded from the ship? Does the dealer provide truck GPS info?

Dealer informed me this morning my 110 has been offloaded from the ship (assuming thermopylae) and is waiting for transport. ETA is 2 weeks. Unless there is a shortage of vehicle carriers, Baltimore to Boston should not take 2 weeks. We will see! No further tracking was provided but Sales Guide said they will inform me when it's on the transporter.

In my case, my dealer is just 75 miles from the port - a two-hour transport - and the delivery estimate allows two weeks from port to dealer. The ship arrived on a Thursday and after all the clearances, customs, documents, my 110 was assigned a transport on the following Friday (one week) at 630am. That Friday morning at 7am, the sales manager emailed that it was arriving that morning! Wheeeee!! I was there to see it that afternoon. :-)

My P400 SE (Build 7-23-21 with a port-installed accessory) is on The Titus. A proud, noble vessel crewed by a brave contingent of merchant seamen. It will weigh anchor and steam for The Americas later today. Songs will sung and tall-tales told of their Defender-related voyage for years to come.

Huzzah!

Bon Voyage!

One thing I noticed at my local dealer is they like to order Defenders to look a lot like ranges, (color scheme) which around here is the de-facto white with a blacked out roof. Not that it looks bad, looks good, better with black pack, just an observation ... seems the ones they've been taking a longer time to sell off this year are dealer stock orders of White or Pangea. I test drove a white 110 P300 before I ordered my 90, no black pack, nice vehicle but not exactly the color scheme I wanted. That thing took like six months to sell. Would probably sell a lot faster now with the shortages.
