2023.5 digital dash dimming issue
I played with sensors, dealer reflashed dashboard module or whatever, one of the latest updates got it less sensitive but still does it. Safety violation if you ask me, can't see speed on it.
hi
mines the same had it in at Landrover and they recalibrated the rain sensor so I was told but its still the same I’ve also experienced the light symbols disappear even though the lights were on I’ve tried lights off lights on lights auto and it still does it.
if they eventually get to the bottom of it I’ll post what they did but I’m not holding my breath

This is one of the dumbest "features" on a car to date. Auto dash-dimming via a light sensor. Driver should be in total control of dash brightness at all times. Everyone's eyes and needs are different. I have a MY24 110 (small screen) with the same issues. At dusk the cluster gets extremely dim. I had an Audi that did exactly the same thing but I was able to program it brighter with the OBD11 software tool (similar to GAP).
I have a VERY early 2021MY 110, and my gauge cluster automatically dims. However, mine doesn’t get so dim that it’s nearly impossible to see. It is annoying, but it’s not that bad to where it’s a safety problem.
