Default 2023 Defender 130 Sound system

2023 Defender 130, I am experiencing a problem with the sound system's volume. It suddenly cuts off, although the volume is at the same level. When I turn the volume control up or down, it comes back on again. Dealer can't diagnose it, since it happens randomly and in workshop. Did anyone experience the same, any recommendation?

Did you ever figure this out? I have a V8 90 Defender 2024 and it has consistently been doing this. It makes a noise like popping and then the radio or Spotify stops playing. I’ve an appointment with Lands Rover next week.

Just seeing this for the 1st time. Early on, our amplifier needed to be rebooted, which required pulling a seat and quarter panel. A year later, the amplifier died and was replaced. It was flaky, intermittent noise, cutting out, etc. The amplifier generates all sounds, to include turn signal clicks.

Diagnosis took the better part of a day by the tech.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to seeing what the problem is as it has been happening since I got it intermittently. I forgot to add that if I turn the volume up a fews later it comes back on.

Since the issue was occurring intermittently, the dealer couldn't confirm the problem at first. After several attempts, I decided to leave the car at the dealership for a full week until the issue finally occurred. According to them, they replaced the unit. To be fair, the problem has not reappeared since then.

Default pulled some fuses, now the media infotainment doesn't work

Okay, so I was troubleshooting problem "A", and in doing so, I thought I would check the load space fuses. It was dark and they are hard to read, so I checked them all. I think I made something in the entertainment system get screwed up. Suddenly, I can't select and place the radio. I cannot play spotify on carplay, I can't attach a phone to bluetooth. Everything in the media section, the left on the front display dashboard, doesn't work.

oh, re: the glitches in the sound system, please see the infotainment thread. Our experience is it is glitchy. Check for software updates.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
