Question, just tried getting new tires for my 130 with 22” rims. The place wouldn’t install the tires I wanted (285/45/22) because they were a 114 load and not what’s required- 115 load. Anyone else have this issue? It doesn’t seem like much of a difference but what do I know. Only option I was told was to go to a smaller rim size.

 

Just go somewhere else. You'll be fine.

 

Tire needs to be at least XL load rated. That's all. If it's XL rated you're good and they should be telling you the same. If it's less than that then they're correct.

Those are XL load rating, so they're perfectly fine. Your tire shop is telling you a load of nonsense.
