I love my 22's ....no complaints. I'll get a set of 20's with bigger tires for off road use.

the 20’s have BFG K02 in a 275/55/20. No modifications to front or rear calipers. i do have a 1 inch lift

the 20’s actually were kept from my p400 defender. I have heard some say the brakes are different on the v8 from the p400. having both cars that’s not true. beside the paint

Also, did you have to make any adjustments to the front and rear calipers with the aftermarket 20 wheels? I have been wanting to get 20 wheels with snow tires for my V8 Carpathian Edition for a while now but just have not pulled the trigger yet.

Thanks for confirming no mods. What is the brand of the 20 aftermarket wheels and where did you purchase them? Thanks again!

They are Black Rhino Chase. They have an aggressive offset of +10. fitment is on point and poke slightly outside of the fender. but you will need a 1 inch left to avoid rubbing if you run the 275/55/20 k02

i got them locally. where you located

Yes vote from me. Before we got ours, every Defender we test drove had just 20” wheels, so when we took delivery, it was the first time driving one with the 22” wheels. TBH, I can’t say I notice much/if any worse ride compared to 20” wheels. They’re very comfortable.

I had a 110X on order with the 20" grey wheels, but just found a V8 on the lot that I'm switching to. Only issue with the V8 is that it has the 22" black wheels. I may give them a chance, but I am leaning towards trading for the 20" wheels I planned on ordering.

I had the factory L663 22” wheels in gloss black on my D90 that I replaced with a set of Urban 22” wheels with Firestone Destination AT2 tires upon delivery.

The factory 22” wheels ride great, and so do my current set of Urban 22” wheels. I am also thoroughly impressed with the Firestone Destination AT2s. They are super quiet, handle potholes and road hazards very well and they look great.

BTW, I’m selling my L663 wheels and tires if anyone is interested. They are brand new with less than 100 miles on them. DM me for details.
