Glad to hear you're well! I'll shoot you a text and we should catch up soon! How do you feel the KO3s compare to the KO2s in the rain? I've driven my buddies JL Wrangler on KO2s in the rain and they were awful. Another friend of mine runs KO2s on his Lexus GX and said the same thing.
I was very happy to see the KO3s will be available in OEM sizes, including the 19" wheels.
The K03 tread design remains the infamous interlocked blocks that interfere with water trying to escape from under the tire, creating dangerous hydroplaning in water puddles and even worst in slushy snow. So don’t expect a change there.
The current best all around tires today are the new Good Year Duratracs RT that they use on the Octa. They are amazing where the BFG fail but are not quite as quiet as the BFG.

I still have the stock (fake) "off-road" tires on mine. I've indeed taken them off road a number of times by now. They worked OK, but always with the constant fear of torn side-walls, etc. It's a ticking bomb for sure, and something I need to correct before I wind up stranded.
My old-school Defender had KO2's right from the factory, and I put KO2's on my old Disco, too. Handling, braking distances and noise were definitely worse than the street tires (as expected), but I never had one fail.
Now, KO3's are available in a slightly-larger no-rub size for my 18" wheels, and I would reflexively go with them due to my good experience with the KO2's. However, on-road noise is super important to me, so I've been nervously considering options, and it's good to hear people's experiences.
So, has anyone gone from stock to KO3's, and can you describe the change you noted?
(Eh, why am I agonizing over this decision? I pretty much know I'll wind up with KO3's regardless.)
Thanks for the details.....it will be interesting to see how the AT4W holds up. My first Falken's after many KO2s, KM2s and Duratraks. First impression is very positive.
On my LR4 (which is my primary off-road vehicle) I've run Duratracs, Ko2s and Geolander MTs... By far the Geolander is the best for the trail. I enjoyed the Duratracs but they are neither the best road going or trail going tire (imo) However, the k02s provided the very best of both worlds and made the other tires feel harsh when it came to day to day travel. I'll be keeping the Geolanders on the LR4 and deal with the noise/crap ride because it's a purpose built vehicle. The 130 V8 is what we use for family travel and daily use so the k03s were a no brainer for us.
Absolutely beautiful rig and the tires look great on it. I'm definitely considering either the KO3's or the Duratrac RT's. Quick question, which rock sliders are those?

I’ve also got 275/60/20 but K02 on my 2020 110 X, with a 1.5 rod lift. I just took this setup to Moab for 10 days it was a very capable baseline setup for an L663.
Around town - no rub of note, any suspension height, in any condition for the past 3 years so all good there.
I wish I could wear them out to get K03’s like you. This size --33” tires-- looks spot on perfect.
