3.2.0a. New Update
One issue I have (am I the only one?) that I hoped to be resolved (but wasn't) is the functioning of the "radio" mute. I would like to see the mute function turn of when you change the volume (either on the dash or on the steering wheel). If you park with the radio muted and turn off the ignition, then decide you want to listen to the radio, you can't. The dual functioning on/off mute/unmute button on the dash just acts as an on/off. You can't unmute the radio without turning the ignition back on. Surely there is a simple fix for this.
By the way, @insider, is there somewhere to lodge ideas for improvements at JLR. You mention customer feedback, but I don't know where to give it.

Plus if you've ever tried using the hotspot with the engine turned off it's maddening. You have to toggle things on and off with the start button every 5 or so minutes, meanwhile you're losing connectivity so if you were on a laptop and VPN'd into work you've lost the wifi connection to the hotspot as well as the VPN... every time... So essentially the workflow was unusable for me and now I end up leaving the vehicle running if I need that. I think minimally there should be a way to keep the hotspot active for 20-30 minutes when the engine is off. Obviously we can't leave things on for hours with the engine off but the way it works now where things stay active for a few minutes doesn't really meet my needs. If I had it to do over, if I buy another Defender and this functionality doesn't improve I'll probably lean toward just getting a Verizon Jetpack instead, or something along those lines.

I have a 22 110 and after this update had my first "LR" issues show up. I think its probably a coincidence but the day after the install my AC fan would not run no matter what I did. I also started getting alerts that the safety systems like adaptive cruise, emergency braking, etc were no longer available. The safety errors would last about 2 minutes then go away and that cycle happened three times. The AC was resolved after leaving it off all night and starting it again in the AM.
The AC thing seems random and this actually happened to me a few times when I had a 19 Volvo XC60 so not just LR. The safety thing makes me think its maybe related to this release as it seems some of that stuff was changed? Especially the change to emergency braking? Will keep an eye on it and see if anyone else posts about this here.
* edit - had the car since November and about to hit 10k miles. Other than this only squeaking issues.

It doesn't default to eco-mode because that was the consensus preference by American customers. Land Rover customers in the US have made very clear in person, via phone (and in strongly worded emails) that they want us to get rid of start-stop and that eco modes are not needed on this type of vehicle. It's a different story in other countries, but the US market has been pretty united about this. That said, we can certainly have a conversation about permanent manual eco default.
Same. Update popped up for me an hour ago. 3.2.0 doesn't have all the release note info about adaptive cruise and all the other junk. Basically just mentions some 3 word NAV thing, USB enhancement, and PHEV updates. None of those apply to me.
and here i find myself always disabling it in our vehicles. i find it does 2 things i don't like. a) when bozos are fluctuating between 40-60 mph for no reason at all with adaptive enabled i just end up doing the same and b) when someone exist the highway ahead of me more often than not my vehicle thinks i'm still behind them, sees a massive slowdown by that person now off the highway, and wants to drag me down to their speed. basically, i hate it under most circumstances.
