I'm fairly new to Defender, I own a 2024 P300, I just found this video, is this a possibilty? Thanks.

 

Yes, everything can be activated using a GAP tool or through a company like JLR Active or someone like @sarek who can activate features. Some features like Terrain Response 2 and ATPC cannot be activated if they are were specced to the car, but features like Dynamic Mode on a P30/P400, Configurable Dynamics and high beams w/fog lights can all be activated.

I had JLR Active unlock Dynamic mode, Configurable Dynamics, high beams w/fog lights, Advanced Tow Assist, permanent Wi-Fi hotspot, ACC, and global close for me about a year ago. They sent out a laptop and remotely activated everything that they were able to.

GAP tool is possibly one of the finest gadgets I’ve ever bought. It does so much.

pays for itself many times over

I probably get most use out of adaptive cruise, on demand lift/drop, and fogs on with high beams. The latter was a surprise to me. Thought it was pure silliness but on dark trails it’s a great little feature.

if you like to service your own vehicle, winkle out fault codes, check live values like tire pressures as you air up, it’s a great thing to have.

wish I’d known about it before I bought. I’d have saved myself a bunch.on TR2 and advanced tow pack (the latter is completely useless of course but still good to have)

global close is great too.

Park assist. Not available on any Defender is a secret bonus feature.

Free lifetime Wi-Fi for the annoying kids in tow.
