Hi guys. I can easily retrofit the matrix led headlights. I can do both headlights for a total of less than 2500. The hardest part is pulling parts of the front of the car to get the drivers side headlight out because of what you need to do to activate and recode the headlights. I should have pictures and video soon, but you have to come visit us in Southern California. Www.jlractive.com and no, you don’t need 3k a piece new headlights!

Hi mark, that is good information. Having successfully performed the matrix LED install, is the light much brighter? I find the US beams very dim and am interested in an upgrade if it helps.

Excellent - it would be great to see how the matrix lighting works on the Defender.

How do I tell if I have Matrix LED headlights that could be made adaptive?

@markjlr did you ever get the images of the lights, I’m also interested to know how to tell if your premium LED headlights can be converted to active matrix LED?

Thanks Mark, was hoping you had found a way to upgrade/activate the units.
We have the premium LED on our XS as the matrix lights weren’t available at the time, these are the only physical items missing form the car. Looks like I’ll need to look out for some matrix units and get Mo at LR Retrofits to code them in and work his magic activating some of the other items on the car 👍🏼

I stand corrected. It maybe possible. I just watched Simons 2nd video. We're waiting on the 3rd video for a verdict.

Been a while since anyone posted here. I have the Matrix LED based on window sticker and CCF report. The adaptive driving beam was disabled so I enabled it. Nothing changed. Any one tried this with the GAP tool besides me? Figure I am missing something? Other CCF that needs adjusted any thoughts?
