What about the proximity key feature? The dealer told me it is available on cars now of course.

I forgot proximity locking and unlocking can work on some vehicles. I’ve heard it’s a maybe on 23’s yes on a few 22’s ive done and maybe on 20’s and 21’s. I’m happy to enable it and see if works. I found it super annoying and not good for me since the spare key could trigger it in my driveway so I turned it off.
the mhz frequencies used on the new defender is annoying. Sometimes I can’t open my doors without thumbing the key fob. My 2020 fullsize works flawlessly.

im from Ohio. I miss cold weather sometimes lol. It’ll be a fun weekend to hang out with defender guys. I’m on my 2nd one, 2022 Trek, and I sold my 20 p400 HSE and miss her.

configurable dynamics is hitting the terrain response button then the dynamic mode shows up on the nav screen and it already has your saved settings so 2 button presses, 1 hard button 1 touch screen.
permanently disabling stop start is a programming setting in p300’s and a wire plug on p400’s
but I heard 23 p300 have the 48volt capacitor so we will see if it works.

- '23 V8 here... Unplugging the wire on the battery on my '21 P400 killed the heated seats as well... so that wasn't really a viable option for auto stop/start disable..... Sounds like there may not be a software option for this.
- Seat belt chime is the other thing... The old method (10 time plug/unplug) doesn't work on the '23s. Would love to know if you've found the switch for that yet
