Default Adding Soft Close Doors

It took me a week to realize the rear door had soft close and I kinda want this now too.

Wow.... would never cross my mind to notice, nor to want, such a thing. You say the rear hatch door has it? I never noticed. I do love the hinge's ability to hold the door open on a pretty severe side-slope, such as we have in our local Publix parking lot.

Oh yes. I thought the rear had to be closed hard at first but it's just a little push and it finishes.

I love the position lock feature as well because I unload a lot while parallel parked and don't want the door to swing into a car behind me.

My wife, she's delicate so she just doesn't seem to ever close her door hard enough. That's the motivation for the other doors.

I've reached out to them and they won't share anything about the procedure and whether it requires CCF editing, harness splicing, etc. The parts to themselves don't appear too expensive.

So ... I should be in or near Ukraine to get this added to my Defender ? Guess not in US for now - or I may be wrong ?

Correct. I figured they would share since out of market, but no dice.

I dont know about you guys but the doors on my defender seem harder to close then most...someone in my family typically leaves at least one door not fully closed each time they ride in it....the first week I had the defender I could not figure out why it would not lock because of it.

You're talking about the rear door? No defenders come with soft close passenger doors.
