Thanks! The P300 aux pump bracket should be done soon. We have a prototype ready. Just need to test fit and possibly make adjustments if needed.

Is that because the quick release can't go straight into the compressor without being hit when the hood closes? I thought the ARB manifolds were needed to isolate more air couplings for things like lockers. The only thing I can see it being used for is to relocate the hose quick-connect. Likely I know less about compressors than I thought!!
Thanks! Appreciate the kind words! I personally kept popping open the hood just to see it some more 😁 The manifold is not needed but was just included to show it can be mounted. A stubby coupler can be added on top of the compressor or a regular coupler with a 90° fitting. Eventually, you can run air actuated accesories with the manifold if you wish. Possibly a separate air tank, maybe a front or rear air lockers if it ever comes to fruition. We are very early on planning stages for creating an air actuated sway bar disconnect for the rear, so the manifold would be helpful for that.

Has anyone actually installed the Lucky8 compressor + bracket? It didn’t come with instructions (typical rly) and I cannot for the life of me figure out how the brackets attach to put the compressor in the proper position.

EDIT: Nvm, they got back to me and they dont have installation instructions at all. I'm just going to return it, since I believe it's fairly ridiculous to sell something that requires assembly (especially it looks like this must require some disassembly of a freaking Land Rover as well) without any instructions whatsoever.

This is something I truly appreciate regarding @sarek and their products, the instructions are up on their website so you can clearly see what you are getting into before hitting the buy button. It is ridiculous (at least to me) for instructions not to be provided pre-purchase, especially if installation includes drilling or permanently modifying the vehicle as that could certainly change my desire for it.

100%, and sorry to hear about all this difficulty, but I did get a real kick out of this part lol. Like assembly is one thing… but you expect me to disassemble a Land Rover without any instructions!? Yea that’s a lot to ask 😭

Are you by chance working on a mount that works on the V8?

Unfortunately not at the moment. The V8 would require going to a single intake in order to fit the compressor with our brackets and engine bay looks pretty cramped to find another location in there. We may look into it if we get our hands on a v8 model to prototype in but probably won't be anytime soon.

Where are you located? Also, any other ideas on a good place to mount it? Thanks!

I'm located in Los Angeles, California. If you don't mind the loud noise when on, then possibly under the boot of the trunk could be a decent location. Just keep in mind it does get hot.

A little too far away for me to be a prototype donor. Wrong coast altogether. 😀

Yeah, the heat worries me in the boot. Plus, my rear storage area will be full of gear when I am overlanding, so access would be quite difficult. I had it under the hood of my Tacoma and it worked very well there. If I can’t find a way to get it under the hood of the Defender, I may just throw it into a Pelican case.
