Air system
Not familiar with any nasty condescending comments, having never been on the Audi forums, but at times it seems that some of these posts are mind-numbingly unnecessary. With a smittance of effort, the answers are quicker to obtain by ‘reading the manual’, than by posting a question and returning to the forum for an answer. One can easily download the manual, in .pdf format and call it up with a simple click to research each and every query. No need to run out to the vehicle, grab the manual out of the glovebox and thumb through it for an answer to the majority of these questions. In fact, it is way easier since the online manual is intuitive and will return related topics with active links, making any search much faster than flipping pages in the hard copy. And as suggested, with these broad questions, a picture or more detailed information expedites the responses from those willing to help. Just saying ‘what is this box’ without saying exactly where it is located only leads to more questions. On a similar bent, I don’t know if I am the only one yawning every time I go to this forum to glean valuable information or feedback from those who have uncovered important tips, tricks, or solutions to our vehicles, only to have to wade through posts asking: “what color Defender should I pick”, or “do you like these wheels or those wheels?”
Same condescending comments which can be found on MBWorld.org.
