Default Another fun issue - no sound from speakers in front

Another fun software issue this morning on my way to daycare, 110 X 2020. Sound only coming from rear most speakers (I checked the audio settings, it's dead center on the soundstage diagram. If I move it up front, it goes silent). Rebooted Pivi - not fixed. Happens on all audio inputs (FM, Bluetooth, CarPlay)

Anyone else ?

I had this exact issue earlier this week. Tested the audio settings and rebooted Pivi and same result as you. The next day it worked fine and has been fine for several days now.

Interesting - Thank you. Well after I posted this morning, my car prompted me (finally!) for a software update. And it's now outside updating itself to 3.2.0 (was 3.0.0) so perhaps this will go away.

Same problem here! It happens very often. The last update didn't fix the problem in my case...

I've had this too - I found it even affected the indicator sounds.

On another forum someone had found that there was something clashing with android auto - the systems appears to try to connect wirelessly AND via the usb-c at the same time and there's a clash. [ https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic85954.html ]

I suffered the problem using Apple carplay. But I suspect the above might well be the issue. If you get into the car and plug the USB in quickly, before the bluetooth connects, you may get a clash.. I've been deliberately plugging my phone in after the stereo starts up and the problem hasn't occurred since.

I’ve had the same issue which resolved itself on the next engine start after parking the car. I’m not plugging in my phones.

Well, l hope my front speakers don't stop working as my 90 Commercial doesn't have any rear speakers

In my case it does affect the indicators sometimes yes, depending on the speakers that fail - since each time a new combination of speakers does not work randomly.

I honestly doubt it is due to Apple CarPlay since I don't have wireless Apple CarPlay in my car. I only can connect with the USB plug so far (the wireless option si not available in my region I think : Tunisia).

I honestly never use Apple CarPlay since I don't have the wireless option. Not sure the speaker problem is in anyway related to that...

Im pretty confident that the speaker issue would not be attributable to connecting wirelessly while being plugged in. I have had the same issue since day 1, and I have never plugged my phone.
