Would you happen to know what exactly they did or what the work order said?

Getting the dealer near me to do anything is like pulling teeth, if I don't come in armed with the exact problem and solution they'll take a look and say "Sorry couldn't replicate the issue"

I can report that, 3 years later, my 110 X infrequently still does do the “no sound from speakers in the front” trick.
Specifics of the behavior include: Rebooting Pivi doesn’t fix it -- I have to turn the car off. Lock it. Let the screen go off. Open door, pretend like I'm unlocking it. Restart it. Usually works. Even then one morning sometimes it won’t come back until I leave the car and come back to it later in the day. It’s not regular enough to pull the alarm bell and have me go looking for a resolution, but it does happen a few times a year and it is annoying. Has not gotten any worse, or better, or changed with the many OTA and dealer software updates the car has gotten since then. I am convinced it’s something in the amp output wiring or circuitry that’s dodgy because I have noticed that it does always seem to happen when it is slightly chilly outside.
^THIS!^ Perfect description! It's one of the many mysteries of British electronics that give JLR vehicles personality.
