I am working under an assumption that jumping from and HSE to an X (and the 20k that goes with it) means that some of the features will be prioritized and retained in the higher / more expensive trim. Can anyone validate this?
I am not sure anyone has the clear answers but here is what I think. The only three things that seem to be in questions are clear sight, HUD and interactive driver display. My understanding is that those are only effected if they are optional. So an x-dynamic build will have IDD but if you want clear sight you won’t be able to get it. If the X comes standard with clear sight and HUD then you would get those but not as options. My order is x-dynamic and I want clear sight but it is something o can live without.
If my order ends up without the interactive drivers display then I would likely not accept. My wife’s has it and it’s one of the best features and very common amongst premium brands. I feel resale could be rough in 2-3 years.
So here is some finding from Germany to this topic.
The MY23 standard 110 SE has only the combined analog/digital driver display. On the MY22 110 SE the full digital was standard looks like I'm "down graded"
You are not able to order the full digital as an option. Only with higher trims you get the full digital. But that said the centre touchscreen now is a standard 11.4" one.
Here is a screen grab of the MY23 configurator.
Yes it looks a bit awkward as the analog instruments look like they are only 2/3 analog and the rest digital. But that just doesn't bother me. All my other cars have analog instruments.
