Anyone do a resonator delete on a V8?

I feel some low end power loss. I replaced mine with an x pipe this last weekend. It definitely accelerates slower it seems. Debating going to just straight pipes...

if you do go straight pipe keep us updated on any changes in sound and low end torque.
