Anyone get the 4.1.4 update?
Bumping this thread to compare with the other active software thread. Maybe they can be merged?
The myriad glitches listed here for 4.1.4 is why I'm hesitant to update. I just got a prompt to update to 4.1.1. I've had the car about six weeks and Carplay connects wirelessly every time with my current software version which I think is 4.1.0.
One annoying thing on my current version is Pivi screen will only shut off after I park if I push start button twice more, or lock the car. I like to leave car unlocked in the garage so I always have to turn ignition on and back off after I park in the garage.
Does anyone know if SOTA works without InControl account? I don't have an account and the manual listed InControl as a possible criteria needed for getting SOTA update. Also wondering if anyone from this thread is still having issues with 4.1.4?

Downloaded another software update on our 2023, not sure if it was 4.1.2 or just 4.2. Of course it won't install despite 5 attempts. Was at the dealer getting the windshield cameras recalibrated and let them try to get it to install. After 3 days, they gave up too and have no idea how to fix it. They suggested I just wait until the next software update is released. Our 2021 never has these software issues. I wonder if JLR used a different infotainment module supplier on the 2023 during the chip shortage.
I updated to 4.1.5 on 03 July, updating from 4.1.4.. I received the update prompt about 5 days before that but I was in the road and prefer to run updates at home in case there are "issues".
I have a 2023 110X (Sep 2022 so late model year '23)) in case that may make a difference. Knock on wood... I have yet to have issues running updates from the version 3.x software it was delivered with, despite updates being less than timely in their being made available (clearly a purely subjective observation).
EDIT: update / correction I had another update from 4.1.5 to 4.1.6 on 29 July. Brain fart on my part; apologies for any confusion. In any event the update was ran fine and is working fine.

Jinxing myself, but I finally got the update a few days ago and haven't had the black screen problem.
...But a bunch of new weird **** has popped up since. Steering wheel in the wrong position out of nowhere, CarPlay disconnects, HVAC and sun shield in different settings every time I turn the car on. :\

So I made the mistake (?) of updating. 🙄
The stock navigation map is now in the driver's console display instead of carplay's one. I've tried everything, but the stock map seems to be the only option available (literally the only option - there seems to be zero other options for anything at all between the two dials).
Having two different types of maps is very confusing, and the stock maps are a lot slower and a bit ugly too. How can I get carplay's map back on the driver's console display?
Thank you!
